Home Health Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Workers to provide essential in-home care services to our clients in Chelsea, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in their own homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Support clients with mobility and transferring


• Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment


• Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to supervisory staff


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Document care provided 

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy


• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Chelsea, MI


• Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules


• Basic knowledge of safety and infection control procedures
