Job Description - Home Inspector

The BrickKicker/Georgia Healthy Homes/Georgia Radon Defense is seeking a certified home inspector to join our team. We cover 30 counties in NorthEast Georgia.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are critical for this position. This can be a full or part-time position. If you have substantial construction experience or experience working as an electrician or HVAC technician, training may be available however you must complete a 120-hour certification course before you will be employed full-time.

Please provide a cover letter and describe any experience as a home inspector and details of your certification. If you do not carry a certification you will be required to complete a 120-hour, online home inspector training course.

You must be physically fit and able to safely walk a roof, climb through an attic space, and navigate a crawlspace. This is not a dirty job but you will find yourself in confined spaces on a regular basis.

Inspection start times are typically 9AM and 2PM Monday-Friday. Part-time employees must be available on weekends.

You will need a reliable vehicle, a laptop, and your own tools. You must also have a clean driving record and criminal history report. (The vehicle should be a truck or SUV. A compact SUV, station wagon, or minivan would probably be fine if that is what you have.)

After a provisional employment period, you will be eligible for a full-time salaried position and a company vehicle.

Compensación: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
