Once our Clients move in, our HomeCare department protects and enhances the investment our Clients made. HomeCare is a trusted and convenient resource to provide service, maintenance and select project support for our Clients and their homes. 

MISSION:

The HomeCare Service Technician works in support of our HomeCare team to execute warranty, home maintenance, service requests and select projects to create Raving Fan Clients and ensure a steady flow of references and referrals.

• Be a single point of accountability and communication and act as an advocate for the Clients and proactively assist them in protecting the investment made in their RisherMartin Fine Home

TASKS:

• Team with Director of HomeCare to execute on daily Warranty, Home Maintenance, and Service requests to protect and enhance the investment our Clients have made in their Risher Martin home

• Self-perform a wide range of home maintenance tasks in order to control schedule, quality and cleanliness, including but not limited to: sheetrock repairs, paint touch-up, caulking, rotten wood replacement, light carpentry, filter replacement, appliance servicing, hardware installation and maintenance, basic plumbing and lighting fixture maintenance, assembly and installation of furniture and client provided equipment, and general handyman tasks

• When required, interface with and manage vetted specialty subcontractors to assist in executing on our warranty, home maintenance and service requests, when tasks fall outside of our in-house capabilities

• Care for the Client as well as their home by seeking to understand their wants and needs and synchronizing with our Director of HomeCare to ensure we are capturing and documenting these needs

• Self-perform work and act as project lead for various small Select Projects (small scope remodeling projects)
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess carpentry and basic punch skills such as light demo, general framing and cornice/siding/trim, window and exterior door installation and flashing, waterproofing, interior millwork, basic drywall/repair, caulking and painting, basic tile setting and repair, basic light fixture and plumbing fixture installation, and hardware install (door, bath, cabinet)

• Be willing and able to engage in physically demanding work – lift 100 lbs safely and able to work on ladders

• Maintain active Driver’s License and be insurable


• Be able to pass a background check

• Dependable and self-motivated and able to work year-round on consistent schedule

• Ability to work inside and outside, sometimes in extreme summer heat
