Home Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to provide quality care and support to clients in the Hartland, MI area. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their health, safety, and independence in a comfortable home environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed.


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors.


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and client interactions.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.


• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.


• Ability to pass necessary background checks and screenings.


• Strong organizational and time management skills.
