Home Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Support Workers to provide in-home care and assistance to our clients in Holly, MI. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals who require support with daily activities, while working in a flexible and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.


• Help with mobility and transferring clients safely within their home.


• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being.


• Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry.


• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes


• Maintain accurate records of care provided and follow care plans as directed.


• Ensure client safety and uphold confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and team members.


• Reliable transportation to and from clients’ homes.


• Ability to pass background checks 


• Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and daily tasks.
