Home Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to join our team in Van Buren Township, MI. In this role, you will provide in-home care and support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility


• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as needed


• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment


• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients


• Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to appropriate personnel


• Follow care plans and coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and families


• Reliable transportation to and from job sites


• Ability to pass background checks and any required certifications


• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
