Job Description:
HealthChoice Waiver Services is currently hiring Homemakers to provide essential in-home support for individuals receiving services through the 245D waiver program. As a Homemaker, you will help clients maintain a clean, safe, and healthy living environment—contributing directly to their independence and quality of life.
We are looking for dependable, caring, and detail-oriented individuals who are ready to make a difference in their communities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, meal prep and organizing
- Support meal preparation and grocery organization (no cooking required unless agreed upon)
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and comfortable home environment for clients
- Report any concerns or changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor
- Follow care plans and documentation guidelines provided by the agency
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in homemaking, caregiving, or cleaning preferred (but not required)
- Must pass a background study per DHS requirements
