Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking mature, responsible Homemakers to provide support services that help disabled or dependent individuals remain safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Accept only assignments for which you are qualified

  
  


• 
  

  Follow safety standards and agency policies

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate promptly with the agency about concerns

  
  


• 
  

  Complete documentation accurately and on time

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain strict client confidentiality

  
  


• 
  

  Report any concerns of abuse or neglect

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a professional, therapeutic relationship with clients

  
  


• 
  

  Keep email access for schedules and updates

  
  


• 
  

  Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain a clean, insured vehicle

  
  

Core Tasks

Household Services:

• 
  

  Plan, prepare, and serve meals

  
  


• 
  

  Shop for food and household supplies

  
  


• 
  

  Make beds, clean, dust, mop, and vacuum

  
  


• 
  

  Clean bathrooms and kitchens

  
  


• 
  

  Wash dishes

  
  

Observation & Reporting:

• 
  

  Report changes in client's physical, mental, or behavioral condition

  
  


• 
  

  Report changes in family situation or emergencies

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate requests for service plan or schedule changes

  
  

Training & Qualifications

• 
  

  CPR/First Aid, Alzheimer's, or Hospice certifications are a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Able to read, write, and speak English

  
  


• 
  

  Physically and emotionally capable of the role

  
  


• 
  

  Prior home care experience helpful

  
  

Limitations

Homemakers may NOT:

• 
  

  Perform personal care or transfers

  
  


• 
  

  Administer medications

  
  


• 
  

  Provide medical advice

  
  


• 
  

  Cut nails

  
  


• 
  

  Share personal contact information

  
  


• 
  

  Work privately for clients

  
  


• 
  

  Provide transportation unless authorized

  
  


• 
  

  Handle banking, legal documents, or purchase alcohol/lottery tickets

  
  

Scheduling & Expectations

• 
  

  All scheduling coordinated by office staff

  
  


• 
  

  Provide weekly availability

  
  


• 
  

  Annual performance evaluations after 90-day probation
