THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Hose Technician for our Lake Charles location. 

The person in this role will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and repairing or building new Caterpillar and Non-Caterpillar hose assemblies.

YOUR CONTRIBUTION

• Apply troubleshooting techniques and determine proper repair procedures for failed hose assemblies.
• Work closely with Parts Department counter and warehouse personnel to ensure customer needs are satisfied in a timely and reliable manner.
• Develop and maintain increased confidence and customer loyalty through correctly built hydraulic hose assemblies for both CAT and non-CAT equipment.
• Consult with Louisiana CAT Teams and customers about hydraulic hose installation recommended practices.
• Prepare and communicate proactive Hydraulic System Repair Options strategies for customers through your knowledge of hydraulic systems. 
• Work cross-functionally and collaborate with Parts & Service Department and Equipment Management divisions to provide timely hose assembly support for all equipment needs.

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS

• REQUIRED:  High School Diploma, or equivalent
• REQUIRED:  Knowledge or prior experience in Hydraulic Hose Assembly Industry
• REQUIRED:  Prior experience in a warehouse environment 
• REQUIRED:   Strong mechanical and technical skills
• REQUIRED:   Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• REQUIRED:   Ability to work in a team environment
