We are growing, and we are now seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Account Executive (or Hospice Liaison) to assist in our growth within the North King County and South Snohomish County area.

Job Summary: Hospice Account Executive


The Hospice Account Executive is a key position within the company. Responsible for increasing


Medicare and Managed Care admissions for Envision Hospice, the Account Executive will develop and implement both business-building and relationship-building strategies for identified high opportunity accounts within an assigned geographical territory.


 


Hospice Account Executive Primary Responsibilities:



  • The Account Executive is expected to generate appropriate patient referrals/admissions from accounts.

  • The expectation is to continue to grow the number of referrals/admissions over time by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all referral sources in the community.

  • Patient’s needs are the highest priority, and this position is the front line of Envision's account care and patient satisfaction.

  • The priorities of business growth and patient satisfaction are of equal importance for the Account Executive.

  • Key referral sources include physicians’ clinics, nursing homes, assisted/independent living facilities, and hospital personnel, including but not limited to case managers, discharge planners, and other appropriate referral sources.

  • The Account Executive will actively establish and maintain market awareness, acceptance, and branding of the company as the “Optimal Choice” for the Hospice needs throughout Envision's local service area.

  • He/she will represent Envision and its services in a competent, professional, and responsive manner and maintain standards of high-quality customer service in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.


 


Hospice Account Executive Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree and related healthcare experience and knowledge.

  • Minimum of two to five years of recent medical field sales experience.

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in sales in one of the following settings: Hospice or SNF.

  • Demonstrated history of positive sales results, preferably involving sophisticated and meaningful customer relationships that led to outstanding results.

  • Must be able to work independently, make judgments based on assessments and data available, and act accordingly.

  • Must be flexible, innovative, and possess good interpersonal skills. Must be

  • able to cope with mental and emotional stress and demonstrate emotional stability.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and public relations skills.

  • Ability to market effectively with customers, referral sources, and the community.

  • Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.

  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.

  • Satisfactory criminal background check.

  • Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.

  • Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.

  • Ability to be creative and "think outside the box" and to have fun while doing it.

Compensation: Base Salary from $85,000 - $99,000 annually, depending on experience.
All rates are negotiable within this range and will be discussed during the hiring process.
