VNA Hospice NWI is seeking:

Hospice Aide ( (CNA) or (HHA) ) for our 14-bed inpatient hospice center

Full-time

Evening Shift 3:00 pm-11:30 pm/with every other weekend rotation requirement

• Starting pay is $18.50 per hour and shift differential.

Summary 

Hospice Aide (HA) is a member of the Clinical Department and the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team who has been trained in the skills that enable her/him to provide personal care for individuals in their residence or at the Hospice Center, under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Requirements

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS:

• Prefer a minimum of 6 months as a CNA or HHA.
• Current CNAs will receive training and certification as a HHA upon hire.
• Must have current CNA or HHA certification in the State of Indiana
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
• Must maintain current CPR certification.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
