Our Ideal Hospice Aide:

  Experience in hospice, homecare, or home health.

  
  


• 
  

  Willingness to travel within our local service area.

  
  


• 
  

  Certified by the state as a home health aide.

  
  


• 
  

  Possesses CPR certification.

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to communicate effectively in English.

  
  

Hospice Aide Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Adhering to the interdisciplinary plan of care.

  
  


• 
  

  Providing personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal assistance.

  
  


• 
  

  Observing patient conditions and reporting changes to the RN.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintaining timely and accurate documentation.

  
  


• 
  

  Engaging in ongoing educational programs.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinating with the hospice team to ensure comprehensive care.
