Job Description - Hospice Care Coordinator- Sales/Marketing

Job Description

We are looking for a high energy seasoned Hospice Marketer who has a passion for seniors and has a current book medical book of business of Physicians, Case Managers and Discharge Planners in and around Kansas City, MO.  

Experience in Medical Sales within a Hospice environment is an essential requirement for this position. 

Key responsibilities include:
* Overall coordination of business development and education of patients, insurance companies, physicians, hospitals, nurses, community resources, other health care specialists and the local community
* Ensuring continuity of care, smooth interaction, and communication between all involved in patient care activities
* Managing all aspects of organization marketing including managing the members of the marketing team
* Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources and responding to customer requests and concerns
* In conjunction with the Director of Hospice Professional Services, developing home health programs in the general community

Qualifications

We seek the following principal qualifications:
* 2 years of experience in sales or public relations in a hospice/ home health care company.
* Familiarity with health care reimbursement
* Effective interpersonal skills in relating to physicians, other health specialists in the community, management, and co-workers both over the phone and in person
