Hours: Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm
Pay Range: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour DOE

Great Oak Senior Care is seeking a mature, compassionate, and reliable Hospice Caregiver to provide weekday in-home support for a client in the final stages of life. This role focuses on enhancing comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being through personalized care and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide warm, attentive companion care throughout the day
• Assist with meal preparation based on dietary needs and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a peaceful home environment
• Offer emotional support and engage in meaningful conversation
• Monitor client well-being and report changes to family or care team
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Provide medication reminders and support daily routines

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends or overnight shifts

• Prior experience in hospice care, home health, or elder care preferred
• Emotionally resilient, patient, and deeply empathetic
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check and DMV screening
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Completion of a 2-Step TB Test (Mantoux)
• Strong understanding of personal care, dementia support, and caregiver safety protocols
