Hospice Nursing Assistant

Salary: $23/hour

Schedule: Monday- Friday | 3 PM- 11:30 PM

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, and surrounding area

Requirements of the BSV Nursing Aide role:

• 
  

  Licensed Nursing Assistant in state of practice (CNA or STNA)

  
  


• 
  

  CPR/BLS Certified

  
  


• 
  

  Prior experience working in an AL/LTC/SNF facility or Home Health REQUIRED

  
  


• 
  

  Enjoy working with Senior Citizens, Positive Attitude, Professional, Responsible & Dependable

  
  


• 
  

  Must be willing to travel

  
  


• 
  

  Valid Drivers License and Auto insurance Coverage with reliable transportation 

  
  


• 
  

  Hospice experience preferred 

  
  

About the BSV Nursing Aide role: 

• 
  

  Perform personal care for the patient including bathing, dressing, oral care, and repositioning 

  
  


• 
  

  Document care provided according to the Care 360 Hospice policy.

  
  


• 
  

  Report any deviations from the plan of care to the case manager.

  
  


• 
  

  Report any changes in the patient's condition to the registered nurse case manager. 

  
  


• 
  

  Use durable medical equipment safely

  
  


• 
  

  Provide respite for the patient's family/caregiver when on-site, as appropriate

  
  


• 
  

  Sit alongside patients during their active departure. 

  
  


• 
  

  Foster cooperative effort among personnel by understanding the functions of other persons involved in patient care and by active participation in team and staff conferences.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide support to the patient's family

  
  


• 
  

  Perform postmortem care

  
  


• 
  

  Other duties as assigned
