Hospice Clinical Manager

We’re hiring a Hospice Clinical Manager to lead and oversee the clinical operations of in-home hospice care. This role is key in ensuring exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient resource use. The Clinical Manager will guide a team of healthcare professionals, work closely with the interdisciplinary team, and maintain strong communication with patients’ families and caregivers.

Brief Overview of Responsibilities for Hospice Clinical Manager: 

Clinical Oversight

• Coordinate and oversee all patient services, including supervision of clinical staff, chart audits, and QAPI activities.

Staff Management

• Appraise staff performance, provide teaching and counseling, and assist with orientation and training.

Compliance and Records

• Oversee patient clinical records and ensure compliance with Medicare, State, and ACHC regulations.

Direct Patient Care

• Provide patient care in the home setting as needed.

Meetings and Supplies

• Participate in audits, IDG meetings, QAPI, and maintain adequate medical supplies.

Professional Development

• Pursue ongoing self-development through education, workshops, and professional activities.

Qualifications:

• One year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice


• One year of RN management experience


• Current Virginia State RN License
