Hospice CNA

• Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant
• Full Time: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Independence, MO and surrounding Missouri counties
• Offer based on years of experience, starting at $20 per hour.

Our Hospice services aim to address the physical, spiritual, and emotional requirements of both our clients and their families who are confronting end-of-life healthcare needs. We provide compassionate and dignified care while maintaining continuity of care. Hospice aides play a crucial role by providing support with personal hygiene and bathing. They collaborate closely with the nurse case manager to guarantee that all the patients' needs are being met in accordance with the established care plan.

Job duties

• Perform personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, etc.) according to the Hospice Aide Plan of Care.
• Document care provided according to agency policy.
• Report any deviations from the Plan of Care to the Case Manager (or designee if not available.)
• Use Durable Medical Equipment safely.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• MO CNA certification required.
• Hospice. Long-Term care experience, and in-field experience highly preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to travel 60 miles on occasion from our office in Independence, MO.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to pass a background check.
