As an Hospice/Palliative Community Liaison, you will be responsible for interaction in the community and promoting company services.
As an Hospice/Palliative Community Liaison, you will be responsible for interaction in the community and promoting company services.
Business Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Work Location: On the road Territory: Summit and Medina Counties

As a Hospice/Palliative Community Liaison, you will:
Analyze the potential of the company’s service area to determine target markets
Visit Doctor offices, Hospitals, Assisted Living Facilities, Skilled Nursing Facilities, and other possible sources of referrals to present Agency credentials and obtain patient referrals
Analyze the company’s organization to determine its strength and weaknesses
Analyze past and current marketing data
Complete an analysis of the company’s “product” line
Analyze patient/company relationships
Develop sales/marketing objectives and sales projections
Develop a marketing plan, identifying priorities and sets a reasonable timetable
Implement marketing plan staying within established timetable
Review and evaluate the analyses and plan on an established basis
Attend IDG meetings, as appropriate
Assist office staff as needed with going to Physician’s offices to obtain signatures, drop off IDG updates, etc.
Meet with and educate patients and families on hospice & palliative care services
Provide community outreach and education
Qualifications:
At least 1 year of sales experience in marketing, nursing or social work interacting with health agencies/professionals
Clinical background preferred but not required
Must be organized and detail oriented
Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in good working order
Job Conditions:
This position is primarily outside sales which essentially involves visiting referral sources daily, driving from place to place as well as telephone communication with patients and accounts
This position requires minimal lifting of office records and printouts
For this position, you must have the ability to read 12 point and larger type, communicate clearly, and be able to hear adequately on the telephone with no more than an amplifier
Must be able to use a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone, and other office equipment
This position has access to patient medical and financial records which may be discussed with management staff
