Hospice RN - After Hours

Shift:

Full-time (40 hrs./week) - After-Hours Shifts

Salary:

$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate and supportive care to hospice patients during after-hours shifts.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Assess patient needs, manage symptoms, and provide skilled nursing interventions.
Support patients and families emotionally and educate them on end-of-life care.
Ensure timely and accurate charting and documentation of patient care activities.
Coordinate with healthcare providers and community resources to enhance patient care.
Adhere to hospice care regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements:

Education:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
Licensure:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Experience:

At least one year of experience in hospice or palliative care preferred.
Skills:

Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Availability:

Full-time position requiring after-hours shifts and on-call availability.
