About the Role

As a Hospice On-Call RN, you'll be our after-hours and weekend beacon of support and comfort for patients and their families, bringing reassurance and positivity to their homes. Our RNs are superheroes, providing invaluable education, care, and support, creating an oasis of comfort for our patients. The current schedule is from Friday 4pm to Monday at 8am.

Qualifications

• 
  

  Current GA Registered Nurse (RN) licensure

  
  


• 
  

  Valid state driver's license, automobile liability insurance, and reliable transportation

  
  


• 
  

  Minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Previous home health or hospice experience is beneficial, but not mandatory

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient in compassionate communication, keen observation skills, and understanding of hospice care philosophy

  
  

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Hospice On-Call RN, you consult with patients and families, providing education about disease processes, end-of-life care, nutrition and self-care techniques. You'll work in harmony with the rest of the hospice team, providing nursing services according to physician's orders, and being a comforting presence for our patients and families during their challenging times.
