Job Description - Hospital Maintenance Technician




A pristine small-town hospital just outside of Virginia, MN is seeking a full-time, permanent Hospital Maintenance Technician to join their thriving team!

The Hospital Maintenance Technician Opportunity: 




  • Full-time, permanent, direct-hire position


  • Monday - Friday within standard business hours 


  • Excellent health/dental/vision insurance coverage


  • 401(K) plan and employer matching available to selected Hospital Maintenance Technician


  • Hospital Maintenance Technician will report directly to the hospital's Facilities Director


  • Hospital Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall safety and operational efficiency of the facility's work environment and will assist with not only routine maintenance checks but also troubleshooting and any necessary repairs of hospital equipment and systems


  • Hospital Maintenance Technician should be familiar and have a strong background in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security repairs and maintenance responsibilities




Hospital Maintenance Technician Qualifications: 




  • Must possess a High-School diploma, GED, or equivalent


  • Must have completed and become certified within a technical academic institution for electricity, plumbing, or alike


  • Must have a Special Boiler License within Minnesota or be eligible to obtain prior to hire 


  • 1 year of work experience in a hospital/healthcare setting is highly desirable
