PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, expedited locum privileges may be available

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Licenses: Active Virginia license and DEA required
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
Experience: Residency trained in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine required
Other Qualifications: Clean file required for privileging; must be able to work with FM residents at Warren Memorial if covering that site

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide day rounding coverage at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital (and potentially Warren Memorial Hospital).
Manage admissions and patient care for hospitalist service.
Perform patient rounds, evaluate and treat acute care patients.
Collaborate with nursing and support staff for patient management.
Participate in EMR training and Valley Health training modules.
