Credentialing Timeframe: | 2-3 weeks. Provider must have 3 supervisor references within the last year that they can provide. |
Work Schedule: | 1 week on, 1 week off - - days only Tuesday 7A - Monday 7 PM 8/26-9/2, 9/9-9/15 and then 9/16-9/22 and 7 on 7 off onward. THEY NEED THESE DATES - won't accept candidates who cannot do them. |
Patient Volume: | The busiest that they've ever been has been 15 admissions, however, that's only happened once. On average seeing 5-10 admissions/night. Their ED group is amazing and they're not going to burn out the hospitalists with stupid things that they can handle on their own. Have to do admits that come in from the ER. However, if it's a family medicine patient they do the initial admit and they're immediately turned over to family medicine services. For codes, whoever’s closest will respond to code until the ED doctor gets there. |
Procedures: | Surgical residents do the central lines - they don't have to do procedures. |
EMR: | Meditech |
License Needed: | KY license needed |
Certifications Needed: | BC IM or BC FP with tons of experience in internal medicine |
Relevant Experience/Skill Set Needed: | BLS, ACLS |
Other additional pertinent information: | Make sure to send a CV that has COMPLETE work history, and they must have 3 references within the last year in order to pass credentialing. Must have Flu vaccination. Covid can have religious or medical exemption, but not the flu. |
