JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board certification required
Active CT license
Experience: Ability to work independently required
Other Qualifications: Must be willing to work collaboratively with physicians and residents

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide hospitalist coverage at two hospitals during day and night shifts
Manage a patient census of approximately 15 patients per shift (day) or work independently at night
Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and other advanced practice providers
Respond to codes and rapid responses as the admitting provider
Perform admissions (8-12 per night on average) and manage boarders in the ICU
