Hospitalist - Physician Assistant

As a Hospitalist Physician Assistant, you'll work closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing hospitalized patients through admissions, daily rounding, care coordination, and discharge planning


• Responding to clinical needs of assigned inpatients during hospitalist coverage


• Performing comprehensive patient assessments, examinations, and diagnostic evaluations


• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions


• Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians


• Ordering diagnostic tests and prescribing medications in accordance with scope of practice


• Educating patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and preventive health


• Accurately documenting care within the electronic health record


• Assisting with Family Medicine's Quick Clinic coverage as organizational needs evolve
