Job Description - Hospitalist/Nocturnist NP/PA

• Coverage Period: Dec 26, 2025 - Jan 1, 2026
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Shift Schedule: 7p-7a
• Patient Volume:
      - IP: 17-21
      - per APP: 8-10
• Admissions: 4-6(am); 5-7(pm)
• Physician in Practice: 2
• APPs in Practice: 4
• Specialty Back-up:
      - General Surgery, EM, OBGYN
      - Cardiology, Orthopedics, ENT
      - Primary Care and Oncology
• EM Beds: 21
• Other Info:
      - No critical care responsibilities
      - Will respond to codes but not in the ED
      - Will not serve as back up in the Emergency Department but will consult on holds in the ED
      - New NP/PA will need to come in the day before their first scheduled shift for orientation
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:
• Active NC License
• BC/BE
• DEA
• BLS, ACLS
• 1 year IP experience (preferred)
