POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a friendly and outgoing

Hospitality Ambassador

who thrives in a hospitality environment and is highly focused on providing exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities include managing reservations, ensuring the prompt recognition and seating of all guests and assisting the servers in providing attentive, courteous and efficient service to guests throughout their dining experience. Candidates must have a passion for customer service, strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to successfully perform in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

HOSPITALITY AMBASSADOR RESPONSIBILITIES

include but are not limited to:
Warm and graciously greet all guests upon arrival
When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant
Manage reservations
When immediate seating is limited, record guest names and number of people in party
Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
Seat guests based on guest preference, guest count in server stations and proper seating of room
Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their server s name
Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness
Maintain a clean and organized host stand and reception area
Relay guest complaints to the Manager on duty and assist with the resolution
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and an efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Manager or immediate supervisor
Demonstrate the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure or when confronted with impatient guests
Embody and deliver on exceptional service and hospitality

REQUIREMENTS
2 years of previous/relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant
Relevant certificates, licenses or registrations including a valid Food Handler Card

(Must have upon hire)
Proficient in Microsoft Suites: Outlook, Word, Excel; Open Table and Restaurant POS System
Knowledgeable and compliant with health and safety regulations
Able to walk or stand for long periods
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older
A positive attitude, excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
Flexible schedule and availability to work evening, nightime and/or weekend shifts
