Hospitality Coordinator

Essential Functions/Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by promptly responding to the requests and inquiries from internal and external customers and guests.


• Greet and escort new admission to their room in the Chateau.


• Meet with new residents or family members to review the Montereau admission agreements, addendums, and conditions of residency. Answer all questions to eliminate any confusion and facilitate a smooth transition from the medical facility or hospital to Montereau.


• Ensure health center rooms are “admit ready” prior to the resident admitting to the community. This may include ensuring the room is clean and made ready by maintenance and housekeeping departments.  Communicating the need for “refurbs” to maintenance via a work order submission.


• Establish a trusting relationship with the residents and family members, orient and fully acquaint them with the community and the clinical team members on their hall.


• Conduct daily Health Center rounds each morning with each skilled nursing resident to ensure their needs are being met and make sure they do not have any lingering questions or concerns thus far in their stay.


• Participate in various interdisciplinary team meetings.


• Partner with Health Center Interdisciplinary Team members to ensure communication is made between departments to ensure residents needs are being met consistently and thoroughly.


• Assist resident upon discharge from his/her room to the Health Center lobby. Assist resident and family member with moving personal items via the hospitality cart.


• Provides reports to leadership on admission and discharge metrics relating to customer service, administrative processes, and satisfaction.


• Make post discharge calls to residents and family members to ensure the post discharge services were implemented appropriately and make sure all their questions or concerns were addressed.


• Participate in Caring Partner Rounds.
