Description
Essential Functions:
Exhibits strong customer service skills while greeting and meeting patients, employees and special visitors. In addition, the team leader is responsible for maintaining a high level of team interaction and team spirit within the hospitality team members.
Maintains schedule for hospitality team. Performs as hospitality member in absence of team member. Schedules education, training and ongoing education for team members. Is trained in basic and advanced chiller and fire panel resets
Provides directions and information to patients, employees and special visitor. Responds to Fire Drills and Suspicious Object/Bomb Drills. Responds to Code Blue and Code 99.
Leads Contracted and Watson Clinic Security staff in daily activities and assigned duties as assigned by the Supervisor of Security.
Monitors and submits event reports to the Supervisor of Security Additional Duties as assigned.
Monitor TempTrack to ensure quality and safety of contents. Take appropriate action if needed.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience: High school graduate, with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven progressive experience leading up to a supervisory role. Completion of Security Certification program.
Must have basic knowledge of fire extinguisher utilization or attend NFPA Class and must possess knowledge of patient transfer and lifting ergonomics or attend educational class.
Must have a valid Florida driver's license with a safe driving record. Must have customer service experience.
Preferred Education and Experience: Completion of a 2 year Associate of Science degree program in criminal justice and security management, with 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in the Safety and Security field.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Possess First Aid and CPR Card or will obtain through Watson Clinic Employee education within 3 months. Attend Basic and Advanced Chiller and Fire Panel Reset education with demonstration of learned skills required.
Must be willing to attend continuous education classes pertinent to hospitality and patient services. Must have experience interacting with general public. Must have prior safety/security/hospitality experience.
Must possess basic computer skills or willing to attend vocational class. Must be able to assess patient transfer/transportation situations and needs. Must be able to take direction from Supervisor and carry out directions. Must be able to supervise others and create a positive team environment. Must have experience with handling cash and making bank deposits
