Job Description - Hospitality/Food Services Assistant

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Hospitality Food Service Assistant to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. This is a temp to hire position at an area hospital. You will be working between the hours of 6:00am - 6:00 pm, and must be available to work weekends and holidays. Pay will be $13.80 per hour.

As our Hospitality Food Service Assistant your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

Taking and placing patient meals in accordance to their care plan.

Assemble and deliver patient meals.

Interact with patients to ensure their needs are met.

Provide excellent customer service.

Adhere to all food safety/sanitation policies.

Maintain equipment.

Requirements

To be considered for this position you MUST meet the following:

Have at least 2 years of Food Service experience.

Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.

Ability to lift/push/pull 20 pounds.

Ability to work from 6am-6pm.

Must be able to hear adequately and communicate verbally with patients.

Must be able to obtain proof of immunization records.

Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Pass all pre-employment screening including background screen and drug tests.
