Job Summary:
The Host is the first point of contact for guests visiting Gurney's new restaurant, Gigi's . This role is responsible for greeting guests with warmth and professionalism, managing guest seating, and ensuring a seamless, high-end experience. The ideal candidate is personable, attentive, and committed to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet all guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.


• Manage guest check-in 


• Escort guests to their reserved seating and ensure comfort and satisfaction.


• Maintain accurate seating charts and waitlists to optimize guest flow.


• Provide information about resort amenities, menu offerings, and special events.


• Communicate guest preferences and special requests to servers and management.


• Collaborate with Team Gigi's to accommodate VIP guests and special arrangements.


• Assist with setup and cleanliness of the entrance and guest areas throughout the day.


• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.


• Maintain a polished and professional appearance in line with resort standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience preferred.


• Previous experience in hosting or customer service, ideally in a luxury or high-volume environment.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.


• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.


• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced setting.

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.


• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds when assisting with guest accommodations.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• $22.00-$22.00 per hour
