Job Description:
We’re seeking a warm, energetic, and detail-oriented Host to join our team at Zinc Lounge, located inside the beautiful Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach. As the first point of contact, you’ll set the tone for a seamless and elevated guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the lounge floor and maintain awareness of table availability to manage seating flow.
• Provide accurate wait times and ensure guests feel welcome and attended to while they wait.
• Answer incoming calls, manage reservations, and coordinate seating arrangements for large parties.
• Familiarity with OpenTable is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right candidate.
• Assist with pre-bussing and clearing tables after guest departure.
• Support your teammates—collaboration and a team-first attitude are essential.
• Maintain a positive demeanor and demonstrate excellent communication skills with guests and colleagues.

Requirements:

• 6 months to 1 year of prior host or hospitality experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Availability Friday through Sunday
