At MML Hospitality, we’re a team dedicated to crafting memorable experiences through our Austin-based restaurants, shops, and hospitality-driven spaces.

Founded in 2006 by Larry McGuire and Tom Moorman Jr., our early focus was on reimagining barbecue in thoughtfully designed settings. Since then, we’ve grown into a multifaceted hospitality group, committed to quality, creativity, and contributing meaningfully to the communities we serve. The addition of Liz Lambert in 2020 brought new perspective and depth to our design and development approach.

Looking ahead, we’re working on a new hospitality project in Austin—an opportunity to bring together our strengths in food, design, and guest experience in a more immersive way. As a Host, you will provide a warm, friendly, and immediate greeting to guests at the door, as well as those calling the restaurant. If you are a proactive team player with a strong work ethic, are detail-oriented, and have a passion for hospitality, we want to hear from you!

What you'll do:

• Greeting guests as they enter, and putting them on a waiting list as necessary
• Providing guests with menus and answering any initial questions
• Seating guests at tables and assigning them to tables they prefer, while keeping table rotation in mind so that servers receive the right number of customers
• Engaging with guests to ensure they’re happy with food and service
• Responding to complaints and helping to resolve them
• Other duties as assigned

• Active TABC certification required
• Excellent customer service and people skills required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of being on your feet per shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
