Dire Wolf Tavern is hiring a Host/Food Runner to join our fun and dynamic team!

Host Responsibilities Include:

• Hosts warmly welcome guests, organize the wait list, and seat servers so that no single team member is overwhelmed at once
• Answer the phone, process takeout orders and graciously answer any guest questions
• Have solid menu knowledge for takeout service
• Communicate effectively to guests regarding wait times, and servers regarding their section
• Keep your work area clean and sanitized at all times
• Assist the servers and bartenders as needed

Food Runner Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting the FOH by clearing, sanitizing and resetting tables in between services
• Bring water to guests upon arrival
• As a food runner, organize food on the hot line and deliver dishes to guests in the dining room when an entire order is complete
• Act as the last line of defense in regards to quality control of all plates
• Assist the servers, bartenders and kitchen as needed
• Communicate any guest requests or feedback to the necessary server or bartender

Requirements

• Must be 16 or older
• Previous restaurant experience preferred for hosts and support staff
• Flexible availability
• Excellent hospitality skills and the ability to make people feel comfortable and at home
• Excellent ability to multi task and remain gracious in a dynamic and busy environment
