Job Description - Host/Hostess


Now hiring Hosts/Hostesses!

Cypress Cove offers residents and guest culinary offerings ranging from poolside treats to fine dining from its 3 onsite restaurants. We pride ourselves on our unique culinary offerings and providing outstanding customer service to our residents and guests.


This is a non-tipping position.

  • Dependable schedules and NO late nights! In fact, most shifts are complete by 8:00 p.m.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

 

Greeting residents and guests into our restaurants. You are often their first and last impression, and we count on you to make them feel at home and to create memorable experiences.


  • Use POS and reservation system to coordinate service.

  • Answer in-coming phone calls for reservations and carry out food orders.

  • Check out servers for side duties.

  • Inspect restaurants and service areas for cleanliness.


 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:


  • Someone who possesses a genuine interest in hospitality and customer service.

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience as a Host/Hostess. 

  • Ability to speak, read and write English to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.

  • Basic computer skills needed for POS and reservations systems. Open Table experience a plus!


Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
