The Kensington Hotel on State Street is looking for an experienced hotel Social Sales Manager. This position will focus on our wedding market and SMERF market. We offer a generous benefit package and bonus program, along with a flexible schedule. Monday - Friday with nights and weekends required as business dictates. The successful candidate will:
Solicit and secure new accounts, as well as service clients and groups on-site. Generate hotel revenue by coordinating with individuals and corporations to schedule group rooming blocks, fill meeting space and establish catering orders. Perform contract negotiations and vendor service agreements.
Effectively attain assigned sales and revenue goals, as well as solicitation call goals.
Proactively conduct solicitation calls, conduct sales tours, and entertain clients specific to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel (BT) and/or Groups, as applicable by property.
Grow existing relationships with assigned accounts specific to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel (BT), and/or Groups, as applicable by property.
Demonstrates ability to deliver banquet event orders and resumes on a timely basis (14 days) and ensure accuracy.
