Proximity Hotel and O.Henry Hotel are looking for a friendly and energetic Catering Sales Manager to join their team of enthusiastic hospitality professionals who provide outstanding experiences to the guests they serve in a fast-paced environment. What are the responsibilities of Catering Sales Manager?
Communicate clearly and perform consistently following the mission and values of the organization in our enthusiastic work environment
Be an advocate for our guests with all interactions, ensuring that each guest leaves feeling that their experience was beyond incredible
Sell group event space and catered food and beverage with a focus on our impressive selection of seasonal restaurant food
Be proactive with generating and prospecting appropriate leads
Manage and further develop account relationships by seeking to best understand our guests’ needs, present their vision consistently to our operations team and provide an event of their dreams
Have an active presence in the community through networking and building trusting relationships
Sell group event space by understanding a guest’s vision and communicating how our hotel accommodations, guest rooms and culinary experience will bring it to fruition
Book optimal pieces of business considering rates, dates and space
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and safety, ensuring that our maintenance, security and sanitation standards are met at all times
Act as a leader with all interactions, ensuring that you take ownership of your intentions and other’s perceptions
What Skills and Experience are desired for Catering Sales Manager?
2 plus years experience in hotel sales, catering and food & beverage with a previous record or demonstration of sales skills
Clear understanding of the sales process
Friendly, energetic and detail-oriented
Passion for hospitality
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Strong sense of urgency and initiative
Experience with Salesforce/Amadeus (Delphi) a plus
Providing the highest quality food, drink and accommodations at a good value.Ensuring friendly attentive service, outstanding and impressive menus, and gracious amenities in hospitable environments. Offering employment that is rewarding and educational.
