Job Description - Hotel Front Office Manager

At DoubleTree by Hilton Front Royal Blue Ridge Shadows, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for every guest. We are seeking a dedicated Front Office Manager to lead our front desk team and ensure seamless daily operations.

Position Summary:

The Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the front desk, guest services, and reservations teams. This role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, skilled at managing people and processes, and committed to providing an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead, train, and motivate front desk and guest services staff to deliver exceptional service.




  • Manage daily front office operations, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes.




  • Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally, ensuring complete satisfaction.




  • Oversee reservations, room assignments, and revenue management practices in coordination with sales and housekeeping.


  • Assist in coordinating Stay & Play Golf Package Reservations



  • Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and payroll to ensure efficiency.




  • Maintain compliance with brand standards, policies, and procedures.




  • Prepare and analyze departmental reports, including guest satisfaction scores and financial performance.




  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications



  • Previous hotel front office supervisory or management experience required.




  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.




  • Knowledge of PEP hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus




  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.




  • Exceptional customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanor
