Hotel Maintenance Technician - $18.00 to $18.50/hour

We are the first Hilton in Healdsburg seeking a Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for helping to create and maintain an attractive, clean, safe, and functioning property. This position requires attention to detail, a high level of professionalism, and reliability. This hourly position will report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and General Manager. 

Qualifications:  

• Skilled in the proper and safe use of tools, equipment, materials, chemicals, and products related to property maintenance 
• Ability to communicate professionally with guests, team members, and management staff 
• Ability to lift, grasp, and/or carry supplies or equipment weighing up to 50lbs 
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders,      working at heights up to approximately 25 feet  
• The ideal candidate is reliable,      responsible, consistent, friendly, and professional  
• Candidate must be able to work      independently after taking direction from leadership 
• Previous customer service experience is      preferred though not required 
• Maintains, inspects, test, and repairs all      mechanical equipment throughout the hotel 
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment and systems      as scheduled 
• Sets comfort zones in all meeting rooms      and public spaces at the beginning, middle, and end of the shift 
• Maintains assigned work area and equipment      in a clean, orderly, and safe condition 
• Enter vacant and occupied guest rooms to      perform repairs
• Repair, maintain, and restock amenities in      public spaces throughout the hotel 

Requirements

Requirements:  

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. High school diploma is preferred.
