Hotel Maintenance Engineering Manager

The Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South, the South Hill's only full-service hotel, is looking to hire a Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our operations team.

The Maintenance Engineering Manager will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the hotel and its systems.  This is a working position, splitting supervisory and maintenance work throughout the week.  This position will play a key role in overseeing, coordinating and assisting the activities of the maintenance staff.  You will ensure repair, maintenance, and engineering activities and the preventative maintenance program are completed as directed, while supporting capital repair and renovation projects.

What you'll do:

• Effectively and professionally communicates with co-workers.
• Follows company policies and procedures.
• Ensures all fire and safety inspections arc completed and any discrepancies are corrected.
• Responsible for the safety of the department and building.
• Administers the preventative maintenance program as required, properly completing work orders on time.
• Completes training regarding safety, security, department procedures and service guidelines. Conducts training of co-workers and subordinates as required.
• Performs skilled repair and maintenance operations using power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, etc

• Previous hotel experience is a plus.
• Previous maintenance experience is required.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
