House Attendant (Houseperson)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strip vacant rooms of dirty linen and terry, trash, and dirty dishes.
• Separate dirty linen and terry.
• Provide clean linens/terry for VIP rooms, Pet rooms, and deep cleans.
• Take out trash.
• Act a a liaison between room attendants, inspectors, and laundry.
• Communicate with front desk on room status changes. 
• Make beds to assist room attendants and inspectors.
• Provide supplies when room attendants/inspectors are in need.
• Restock linen closets with terry/linen and supplies.
• Clean complete rooms to standard.
• Service Stayover (overnight guests) rooms to standard.
• Clean up biohazard or sharps prior to room attendant entering rooms.
• Complete guest requests prior to guest arrival or upon request.
• Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred. 
• Ability to bend, lift, carry and move 25-200 pounds
• Ability to work standing or walking for entire shift
• Work with little or no supervision while maintaining high-levels of cleanliness and efficiency/safety
• Strong attention to detail 
• Available to work a varied schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate with guests and team members.
