House Cleaner — Team Lead

This position starts as a Team Lead Trainee. You'll learn our cleaning standards from the ground up, working alongside experienced cleaners in our clients' homes. Once you've proven you know the work and can be counted on, you move up to Team Leader — running your own team, driving the company vehicle, and owning the results at every home on your route.

What your day looks like
- Start early, finish in the afternoon. Monday through Friday, daytime hours. No nights. No weekends. Home for dinner every night.
- Meet your team at our Emerson Street shop, load up, and head out on your route
- Clean 3–5 homes a day as a team, top to bottom, to our checklist
- Read and follow work order notes for each home — every client has specific requests, and getting them right is the job
- Talk with clients who are home during the service, answer questions, and handle concerns professionally
- Record notes on each job so the next team knows what they need to know
As a Team Leader, you add to that: driving the company vehicle, keeping your team on schedule, checking your team's work before you leave a home, and being the person the client and the office both call.
What we need from you
A valid Florida driver's license you've held for 5–7 years, with a clean driving record. This one isn't flexible — our insurance requires it for anyone driving a company vehicle, and Team Leaders drive. If you've got a long, clean history behind the wheel, say so in your application.
Strong English communication — reading, writing, and speaking. You'll read work orders, write job notes, talk through concerns with clients, and coordinate with teammates. Bilingual English/Spanish is a major plus — some of our cleaners speak primarily Spanish, and a lead who can bridge both is enormously valuable to us.
Dependability above everything. Your team can't start without you. Attendance and punctuality are the number one thing we look at when deciding who gets promoted.
The physical ability to do the work: lifting and carrying more than 20 lbs, safely using step ladders rated to 250 lbs, standing for extended periods, and pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion throughout the day. Safe handling of cleaning solutions, with goggles, gloves, and masks provided where needed.
A clean background check and drug screen. You'll be trusted inside people's homes.
No cleaning experience required. We train you completely. Previous house cleaning, hospitality, or housekeeping experience is a plus, as is a diploma or GED — but attitude, attendance, and an eye for detail matter more.
Pay & Benefits
- $18/hour during training. $20–$21.50/hour as a Team Leader
- Monday–Friday daytime hours — no nights, no weekends
