House Guard
The Classic Center & Akins Ford Arena are seeking a diligent and dependable Full-Time House Guard. The candidate must be able to work 4:99pm through 12:00am. The House Guard will be responsible for safeguarding company assets, monitoring the premises, and responding to emergencies. This role demands vigilance, professionalism, and a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment.
Responsibilities:
Visitor Assistance & Public Relations: Aid visitors and act as a representative of The Classic Center, ensuring a positive experience.
Personnel Protection: Safeguard all personnel on the premises.
Crime Deterrence: Act as a deterrent to criminal activities, protect proprietary and classified information, identify and report potential hazards, and restrict unauthorized access.
Substance Monitoring: Observe and address the use of illegal drugs and inappropriate alcohol consumption.
Property Control: Monitor materials leaving the facility to ensure company property is not removed without authorization.
Parking Operations Support: Assist with ticketing in the parking deck as directed by the Parking Operations Manager.
Primary Mission:
Maintain a secure facility by detecting, deterring, and reporting violations of facility policies, safety regulations, and any attempts at theft or criminal damage. House Guards play a crucial role in crowd control and direction when necessary.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong customer service skills and experience in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to frequently walk around the facility and lift materials up to 25 lbs.
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
The candidate who is selected for this position will have to successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
