Mother's Helper for Household

In search of a mother's helper role within our household. Preferably located in eastern shore area. Additional preferences of a holistic/ health-conscious lifestyle and avoidance of fragrances in laundry detergent, deodorant, perfume etc. Pay range from $20-$30 depending on level of organization and food preparation experience. Hours would be Monday-Friday 9:00 am until 1:00 or potentially 2:00 if more hours are needed.

About Us: We have 3 children (9, 7 and 6 years old) and are seeking a dedicated and highly organized mother's helper to join our household team. We are committed to maintaining a well-organized, healthy, and environmentally conscious lifestyle. Our ideal candidate will help organize our home, provide excellent care for our children, ensure our household runs smoothly, and provide healthy and nutritious meal preparation (recipes and food provided) .

Job Description:

As a mother's helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our household. Your responsibilities will encompass:

Household Chores:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain an organized environment.


• Manage laundry, ironing, and clothing care.


• Organize and declutter various areas in the home.


• Care for animals (dog, chickens and rabbit) if comfortable.

Childcare:

• Typically children in school unless sick or a holiday


• Provide attentive, firm communication yet nurturing care for our children.


• Occasional engaging in age-appropriate activities, both educational and recreational.


• Occasional school pickups, and transportation to extracurricular activities (would need reliable transportation).

Running Errands:

• Handle various errands, such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and package returns

Food Preparation:

• Plan and prepare meals using only organic, high-quality ingredients (recipes and ingredients provided).


• Prepare school lunches and snacks with a focus on nutrition and health (ideas typically provided).


• Accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences within the family.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mother or mother's helper.


• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.


• Willingness to assist in meal prep of organic nutritious meals (chopping, peeling, washing, cooking etc)


• Knowledge of cooking and meal planning


• Flexibility in adapting to the family's needs and changing schedules.


• Childcare experience: CPR training ideal, but not required


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information.
