Household Manager- Western Spring, Illinois

Our client is seeking a highly organized and skilled Household Manager to provide comprehensive support to their household operations in Western Spring, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating travel, and supervising household staff. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and capable of handling multiple tasks with efficiency and discretion. 

Responsibilities: 

• Household Management: Coordinate and synchronize all household schedules to ensure smooth daily operations.

• Vendor Oversight: Manage relationships with household vendors (e.g., landscapers, irrigation company, various contractors) ensuring quality service and timely execution of tasks. 

• Travel Coordination: Work closely with the travel manager to plan and organize travel arrangements and itineraries for the family. 

• Staff Management: Supervise and oversee household staff, including the chef and housekeeper, ensuring their tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. 

• Budgeting and Payroll: Manage household budgeting, ensuring proper allocation of resources and overseeing payroll for household staff. 

• Property Management: Ensure the property is well-maintained, organized, and properly staffed. 
• Daily driving for children  

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role with one family  

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple properties and staff efficiently. 

• A high level of sophistication, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. 

•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to liaise with staff, vendors, and external partners effectively. 

• Must be willing to travel to other properties in Florida and California as required. 

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record 

• Excellent, verifiable references
