Description

The Housekeeper position at VTrips is responsible for ensuring that the cleanliness standards are met for all guest and owner accommodations. The Housekeeper will perform routine and non-routine housekeeping tasks to maintain the quality of the properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean assigned units promptly, following VTrips cleanliness standards.
• Perform housekeeping and maintenance inspections as required.
• Communicate completion of assigned tasks and any findings to the supervisor.
• Perform re-cleaning and touch-ups as necessary.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position with varying hours based on business needs. The Housekeeper should have the flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to travel between locations.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background screening.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• One year of experience in the hospitality field performing housekeeping duties is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Physical/Mental/Environmental Demands:

• Physical Demands: The Housekeeper must be able to walk, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, twist, and reach. They should also be able to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities are required for this role.
• Mental Demands: The Housekeeper should have problem-solving skills, be able to interpret instructions, and meet deadlines.
• Environmental: The Housekeeper will be regularly exposed to household chemicals.
