Description

The Housekeeper role ensures a clean, professional, and hygienic work environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and responding to special requests as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to work independently, with no direction.

Knowledge of cleaning products and sanitation procedures

Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience required.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

Dependability and ability to maintain confidentiality in an office setting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.

Sanitize restrooms, restock supplies, and ensure proper hygiene standards.

Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, and communal areas.

Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.

Maintain cleanliness in breakrooms, kitchens, and common areas, including wiping down counters, appliances, and tables.

Clean glass surfaces, including windows, doors, and partitions, to maintain a professional appearance.

Assist with occasional deep-cleaning tasks as directed.

Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify management when restocking is needed.

Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facility Manager.

Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High school graduate or equivalent.
