Thrive Now Recovery Centers, in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services, is dedicated to assisting individuals on their path to recovery from substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. Our Cedar Falls facility offers a safe and supportive environment for healing, with a team focused on kindness, empathy, and excellence.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in Cedar Falls, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our residential and clinical facility in alignment with all health codes and regulations. Your attention to detail will help create a safe and welcoming environment for our clients and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and maintain group rooms, residential rooms, restrooms, staff offices, and public areas


• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and disinfectants


• Vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, polish, and sanitize surfaces


• Clean carpets, rugs, upholstered furniture, walls, windows, and ceilings as needed


• Empty trash and transport waste to outdoor receptacles


• Restock bathroom and cleaning supplies


• Pick up trash around exterior of facility as needed


• Complete weekly cleaning checklist and submit to Program Director


• Stay informed on health and sanitation regulations


• Perform other duties as assigned by Program Director or designee

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred


• Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks


• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures


• Ability to read, follow instructions, and communicate effectively


• Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check


• CPR/First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
