Housekeeper

SCHEDULE: 40 hours, Sunday - Thursday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., including holidays and weekends, essential in the event of weather or other emergencies

Pays $20.00 per hour DOE

This position carries a retention payment of $3,000.00, $1,000.00 payable at 12 months, and $2,000.00 at 24 months    

LOCATIONS:  Within the following Boston MA work sites: Food Service Building; 414 Harrison Ave.; 434 Harrison Ave.; 444 Harrison Ave.; 363 Albany St. 

SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

The Housekeeper will perform daily, weekly, and monthly laundering and cleaning responsibilities as determined by the Supervisor.

The Housekeeper is an essential position in the event of an emergency, and will work 100% site-based, with no remote working duties. 

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

REQUIRED: 

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to read and understand printed labels, signage, and instructions
• The ability to understand and speak English

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED: 

• Minimum of six (6) months of institutional or commercial industry cleaning experience

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge of industry standards as applied to Sanitation and General Procedures
