Job Description - Housekeeper

We are currently seeking to add a housekeeper to our team. Our housekeepers do so much more than just vacuum floors and make beds! At Sheboygan Senior Community you'll have the opportunity to build relationships and bond with our residents, while providing them with a clean, comfortable home and improving the quality of their lives. 16.00 per hour starting wage

Monday- Friday Full Time 30 hours per week

Benefit eligible

Hours 7:30 am-1:30 pm or 8 am - 2 pm

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for the cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas.

Perform emergency housekeeping when accidents occur.

Clean floors: dry mop, wet mop, sweep, vacuum, and sanitize.

Clean all surfaces: polish, dust, and sanitize furniture, fixtures, and ledges.

Clean moveable and stationary furnishings and fixtures: dusting, washing, and polishing.

Clean bathrooms: fixtures, floor, toilet, walls, mirror.

Clean mattresses and beds.

Clean walls, windows, doors and ceilings.

Empty, clean and refill trash receptacles.

Clean entrance to the household, including the living room, and public restroom

Requirements:

One year of housekeeping experience preferred; however, willing to train the right candidate

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
